    Commander/Police Sergeant- Real Estate Sales Professional

    Nick Dolbin, with over 14 years in various leadership capacities within Ohio law enforcement, is a seasoned and highly commended officer known for his outstanding problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. His calm demeanor under pressure and proactive approach have garnered him multiple awards and accommodations, including Rookie of the Year in East Cleveland, Top Drug Buster, Top Traffic Enforcement, and Top OVI from MADD in Cuyahoga County. He has also been recognized as the Top Seat Belt enforcer in Cuyahoga County. He has received a Youth Community Award, a Department Commendation, and an accolade from the Gun Safety Task Force.

     

    In addition to his law enforcement career, he is a licensed real estate agent. He runs Premier Field Services, a thriving real estate sales and property management company based in Strongsville, Ohio.

     

    Nick's Law Enforcement Career

     

    Nick serves as a 911 Operations Supervisor for the Cuyahoga County Department of Justice (CECOMS), where he manages the daily shifts of call-takers handling between 8,000 to 9,000 calls. He supervises AMBER Alerts, coordinates mass casualty responses, oversees media alerts, and facilitates cell phone pings. He also monitors radio communications and assists local fire and police departments with specialized requests.

     

    Furthermore, he holds a position as a police sergeant at the Timberlake Police Department. There, he serves on the Command Staff, acts as a TAC Officer, and instructs colleagues as a Taser Instructor, overseeing the patrol unit's daily operations.

     

    The Start of His Career in Law Enforcement

     

    He began his esteemed career in law enforcement as an entry police officer at the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, patrolling subsidized housing complexes. His career trajectory took him through various roles in Cleveland and beyond, including as a Commander at the Amsterdam Police Department and as an officer at the East Cleveland Department. Notably, at the Geneva on the Lake Police Department, he led a significant meth seizure during a traffic stop, confiscating three pounds of methamphetamine.

     

    He also served as an Administrative Sergeant at the MetroHealth Police Department, managing dispatch, communication equipment, and officer training programs. He has been a TAC Officer, Firearms Instructor, Range Master, and Glock Armorer.

     

    Awarded Numerous Certifications

     

    Throughout his career, he has acquired a broad array of certifications to enhance his skills and service in the community, including Crisis Intervention Training (CIT), Public Safety Telecommunicator (PST), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), and Field Training Officer (FTO), among others.

     

    Nick Began His Career in the Insurance Industry

     

    Prior to his law enforcement career, he was deeply involved in the insurance industry. He managed statewide operations for Medical Mutual of Ohio. He served as a Manager of Workers' Compensation at Klais and Company, overseeing the daily operations of a BWC Managed Care Organization. His insurance career began as a Claims Specialist at the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, where he managed claims from injured workers, liaising directly with healthcare providers, employers, and attorneys.

     

    Educational Background

     

    He graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Management and Labor Relations. He is also an alumnus of the Cleveland Heights Police Academy and the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy and has pursued further education in Executive Management Leadership at Ashland University.

     

    Dedicated to Community Service

     

    His commitment to community service is profound, evidenced by multiple awards for his contributions to Community Youth Service and Gun Safety Outreach. He has been actively involved with The MetroHealth Advocates for Community and School Safety (MACSS), which collaborates with MetroHealth's Office of Public Safety to distribute free gun locks and promote gun safety as a public health issue.
